Fatah published a poster in which it calls the murderer, Abdel Rahman al-Shalodi, a "hero and martyr." The same language was used on official website of the Palestinian Authtority (see the website post).
Sultan Abu Al-Einein, an advisor to Abu Mazen, used his Facebook page to call a-Shalodi "a heroic martyr." Last year, after Al-Einein praised the stabbing murder of Evyatar Borovsky, five members of the U.S. Congress asked Abu Mazen to condemn the statements and fire his advisor. Abu Mazen refused.
